I am both laid-back and intensely passionate. With a quiet voice and confident energy. I am strong-willed yet open-minded. I’m a Capricorn, an Enneagram 8, and the eldest child/daughter (iykyk). You will never find me without a book in my bag, an iced coffee (in all seasons), and my kids, Eden and Oliver, in my arms.
Growing up, I was never labeled the artist, but here I am.. captivated by the camera. I have been photographing weddings, engagements, families, proposals, events in multiple states and two other countries. From 2011-2022 I was the founder of an NGO in Liberia, West Africa, where my camera lens saw a whole lot of kids and a whole lot of dust. The work I did in Liberia, and the family I made, has shaped me in ways I am still realizing today. Through living in Liberia, I met my husband, Suah, who is currently still residing in Africa. For now, I’m functioning as a single parent, running a full-time business, and getting little sleep in between.
Although some days are more difficult than others, this job gives me a creative outlet that has been incredibly therapeutic to this tired brain of mine.
I get to step into my artist shoes and find beauty in the every day that sometimes I often miss myself. When I leave a family session that was filled of laughter, giggles, play, and love that could be felt.. I make it back home to my babies and feel overwhelming gratitude. For this life and everything in it.

My Approach
My sessions are based off organic interactions. Throw out the pinterest board and focus on being engaged. We’ll play games, tickle, dance, hug, and act silly. These will not be your typical, ‘look at the camera and smile’ photographs. These will be multi-layered. These images will be filled with life, chaos, rest, excitement, difficulty, nostalgia, peace, and love.

This is all you, my friend. It’s the way you comb your daughter’s hair. The way your son crinkles his nose when he laughs. The way your partner looks at you as you hold your newborn. The way you sing songs during bath time. The way you bake cookies on a Tuesday night. This is the magic. You, your family, and the home you’ve created. The love that is shared. The walls that have stories upon stories to tell. You just need someone to capture it, that’s all.
